The University of Manchester’s pioneering expertise in Industrial Biotechnology was recognised by the 2019 Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, which celebrates the MIB’s work in developing disruptive bio-based technologies which will help transition chemicals manufacture from petrochemicals to sustainable manufacturing.
