Automated compound-agnostic biomanufacturing pipeline
The Centre has developed a suite of Design/Build/Test/Learn tools and technologies for chemicals production in E. coli. This pipeline now allows rapid prototyping for transformative on-demand microbial production of diverse chemicals which was recently showcased for prototyping, optimisation and scale-up of chemically diverse industrially relevant materials monomers. Responsible Research and Innovation
Recent Responsible Research and Innovation work has included socio-techno economic analysis and constructive sustainability assessments for our chemical targets, and international horizon scans whilst working with industry partners to incorporate ideas into working practices.
